Dear ILS,
Lately I have taken time to reflect on the people and events in my life that have allowed me to reach the present. I would like to say that the majority of these people were fellow students, teachers, and staff of ILS. I am indebted to your great institution for so much I have today. ILS was vastly influential in allowing me to grow as a person and a young mind.
I graduated second in my class in high school at St. Benedict in Memphis. I also was the president of the class and math honor society. I believe it is the least to say my formation as a person while at ILS was instrumental for me to achieve these things.
The strength of faith in God undertones all the teachings of ILS, and this solid foundation provides firm ground for the children to leap into life.
I hope you continue in these traditions. I am now a freshman at the University of Alabama double majoring in mathematics and physics, and for your part ILS, I am infinitely grateful.
Cordially,
Eric Robert Joseph Edwards
