The Grese-Sohn Immanuel School Fund is a part of the Immanuel Lutheran Church and School Endowment to
support our Immanuel Lutheran day school and preschool
Contributions to the IMMANUEL LUTHERAN SCHOOL ENDOWMENT FUND may be made in the following ways:
CASH - Cash gifts may be made
periodically or as a one-time event.
SECURITIES - Gifts of appreciated stocks or
bonds can be donated as general gifts or as memorials.
LIFE
INSURANCE POLICIES - Give a paid-up policy you no longer need and receive a tax deduction,
or designate a percentage of an existing or new policy.
ANNUITES - This method may increase your
lifetime income (part tax free). Qualify for an immediate tax deduction and provide for a future gift to
the Endowment Fund.
IRA’S
AND OTHER RETIREMENT INCOME PROGRAMS - Name the Endowment Fund to receive the balance of an account after
death.
BEQUEST BY WILL OR LIVING TRUST - Write or update a will to include the Endowment Fund to receive a
percentage of your estate. The same
applies for a living trust.
CHARITABLE
REMAINDER TRUST - Interest is regularly paid to the designee(s) for a stipulated period
of time. Then the principal is
transferred to the Endowment Fund.
For assistance
in establishing planned gifts to the Endowment Fund, contributors and
benefactors may wish to consult with their legal or financial advisor, also
with the Planned Giving Counselor of the Mid-South District LCMS, or with a
District Representative of a Lutheran fraternal insurance company.
