Students in all of our K – 8 grades participate in testing using the Stanford Achievement Test to help determine their academic growth. On average, Immanuel’s students score in the 73rd percentile (above average).

Immanuel offers a challenging curriculum in pk3 – 8th grade.

Teachers and staff are attuned to special concerns and communicate easily with parents so that the students’ needs are met. Students are motivated to achieve their full potential as they grow in knowledge and spirit.

Our early childhood program cares for children from age 3 – 5.

Our preschool is an excellent beginning for a child’s educational journey. Activities are developmentally appropriate and children are actively engaged in discovering new ideas, concepts, and skills.

The elementary school program is designed to enable success for every student. ILS strives for excellence and guides children as they progress each year.

Immanuel’s middle school program prepares students for entering high school. The schedule allows students to develop independent study skills and manage time wisely. The middle school students pledge to behave in a responsible manner by respecting others and practicing honesty, forgiveness, and perseverance.

Average class size for grades K-8 is 15 or fewer.

Pre-K classes have a maximum teacher student ratio of 9 to 1.

Every subject required by Tennessee Department of Education is taught and Immanuel is fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and National Lutheran School Accreditation.

Beyond state-required subjects, Immanuel students participate in Biblically based religious instruction and weekly chapel services. Physical education, art, music, library, computer, and recess are included in every student’s schedule.
